Replacement of screw bar screens
Over the past few days, we've had two major projects to complete, involving the replacement of bar screens of competing brands, and what's more, of different technologies.
This is always a tricky exercise, for a number of reasons:
- our sales force must be able to master the task of dimensioning,
- our technical and financial offer must highlight all the advantages of our solution,
- our design office must identify the customer's needs and optimize operations,
- Finally, our technicians have to be fast and efficient, before training staff in our technology during commissioning.
After just a few hours in operation, comparisons and comments from operators were quick to come in. The equipment is not only quieter, thanks to the absence of washing ramps, but also much more compact. These are important advantages when the bar screens are located in a room. Water consumption is nil, since the PROSTEP type bar screen operates without water supply. And last but not least, there's no need for time-consuming replacement of brushes and strainers.
