REPLACEMENT OF A CURVED BAR SCREEN
Contact UsWe are regularly consulted on the renewal of curved bar screens. IThey are often complicated to replace for several reasons:
- Downstream discharge
- Low water level due to louvre shape
- Aerial channel layout
- Effluent outlet sometimes below the grate
- Waste disposal downstream from the laying surface in horizontal or vertical chutes.
Despite this, we can often submit a alternative interesting to curved bar screen which facilitates the operation of the bar screenas shown in the photos below.
REPLACEMENT OF A CURVED BAR SCREEN
Existing context: a Curved bar screen out of orderinstalled in an overhead channel, the effluent arrives by backflow, and the screenings are discharged into a downstream chute. The operator must periodically pull the waste with a rake to make it fall into the waste garbage can located at "Terrain Naturel" level.
Visit benefits for the operator:
- The bar screen is entirely streamlined and therefore secure.
- Installation cleaner no trace of garbage left on the civil engineering.
- in contrast to the previous context, waste is directly into the waste garbage can. The operator no longer has to do this.
- In the event of a power cut, and if the grid becomes clogged, the deflector acts as an overflow. The effluent has an escape routewhich is fundamental. It didn't exist before.
Our solution: a SG400 bar screenThe effluent is channelled towards the side of the channel, where it is directed at 90° to the effluent inlet, and pressed against one of the channel walls. The effluent is channeled to the side of the bar screen via a stainless steel deflector of our supply. Screening rejects are thus discharged into a waste garbage can located in the "Terrain Naturel" area.
