Our technical team is at your disposal to advise, guide and assist you in making the most of your bar screen. When we meet Cédric or Geoffrey - our two technician-fitters - they often have the telephone pressed up against one ear, advising a customer, or a layout plan or electrical diagram in front of them, or even sharing their remarks on their latest interventions or preparing the next trip. Your needs punctuate their daily lives, and that's not just a phrase. "My days remain very variedexplains CédricI receive a lot of requests for information by e-mail or telephone. It can be information on spare parts, advice on a malfunction, the adjustment of this or that part, or the parameterization of our PLCs".. It's true that with almost 5,000 bar screens in operation, and more than one a day leaving our workshops, demand is high. But Cédric and Geoffrey put all their enthusiasm and professionalism into their work.
"I also spend a lot of time preparing interventions and making sure we don't miss anything on site". says Cédric, before Geoffrey adds "When an assembly or after-sales intervention seems more complicated, we talk about it together, and Cédric shares his experience with me.. In fact, when we are asked to install our bar screens, we are convinced that we provide real added value, as Cédric explains to us "We know better than anyone how to install them, but also how to adjust them once all the electrical connections have been made. Likewise, when we come across a major installation problem, we are in direct contact with the design office, and in most cases we can carry out the modifications immediately. Finally, this enables us to train the operating personnel, to go back over the operation of a bar screen in detail, and to make them aware of the following points: replacement of wearing parts, adjustment of the belt - the key part -, to discuss possible adjustments on the PLC and the feedback they can give, etc.".. Quality service for greater peace of mind.
Over the years, they have taken their toolboxes far beyond our borders, to Chile, Kosovo and Africa. With memories in spades. "The set-ups I remember? There are so many... one in Belgium where we had to install a bar screen in an underground substation, with two access walkways to assemble inside. To top it all off, we had to make adaptations on site. Another in Luxembourg, with underframes over 15 meters deep. That's a lot of pegs to drill. laughs Cedric today. For his part, Geoffrey remembers that "Recently, we replaced a competitor's equipment and had to dismantle it before installing our own. This may seem an easy operation, but it's often fraught with surprises. Otherwise, a month ago, we replaced one of our machines in central France, in a very cramped location, and it was a real pleasure to handle..
